Sue Ellen Brown, Guest Contributor: Taurus, the Bull

One of the subtle ironies of Taurus, the Bull, is that it is a “Feminine” sign. It may not be Aggressive like Aries, but it is Assertive, and will stand it’s ground – (how appropriate for an Earth sign?) Taurus can be the contented Ferdinand the Bull – happily dozing under his cork tree, and he really prefers that romantic indolence as any true Sensualist. Just don’t be surprised when confronted with sudden change, Taurus stubbornly stands his ground, or when finally at the end of his long fuse, he is enraged and takes aim with those horns. Make no mistake, the happy contented bovine may be quiet, but he is a force to be reckoned with.  Once they’ve set their course, Taureans are hard to stop. And if they’ve made a promise, or a stand, it will be kept.

Taurus brings its head long rush into Spring. I’ve pictured the Bull standing his ground and making no mistake that he is a stubborn customer to deal with.
